Closures
This page documents the results from the Closures whiteboard where all Javapolis 2006 participants were encouraged to participate with their ideas.
As it turned out, the whiteboard for closures was the least well used of the whiteboards. There were a couple of questions asked:
- How can we add closure methods to Java interfaces like List and Map without breaking backwards compatability?
- What about an array of closure methods?
A straw poll vote was taken on this issue - Do you want closures in Java at all?
