XML Appliances
Abstract
An XML appliance is a separate computer system with deliberately narrow functionality that exchanges XML messages with other computer systems. XML appliances secure, accelerate and route XML so enterprises can cost-effectively realize its full potential for messaging and service-oriented architectures (SOAs). They are designed specifically to be easy to install, configure and manage.
During this University talk, 2 vendors will position their solutions:
- CISCO/AON
- Cisco is a well known provider of Network and XML appliances
- Tarari
- Tarari is a semiconductor company whose product line primarily includes ASICs, and also boards and software acceleration components designed for network equipment, appliance and server vendors, as well as independent software vendors
After these technical presentations by both vendors (no sales pitch), we'll have a panel discussion and Q&A session.
