AndroMDA, an Open Source MDA framework

Abstract

Last year, there have been a lot of universities and conferences about dynamic and scripting languages, and about how they can increase your productivity and optimize your time-to-market. It was almost like there was no way to be productive with standard Java and usual frameworks. But the thing is that there have been some very interesting tools out there for quite some time, that actually allow you to be even more productive than those technologies, without giving up the robustness and extensibility of mature Java frameworks. In this presentation I want to demonstrate one of those tools. In just fifteen minutes, I will build a real application based on Spring, Hibernate and Struts and use AndroMDA, an Open Source MDA framework.
